Nursery & Toddlers (6weeks - 2yrs)

We believe even the youngest among us can begin to cultivate a relationship with Jesus. Our nursery and toddler room is prepared with age-appropriate toys that are thoroughly cleaned every week. Your kids will hear worship songs and Bible stories each week from a team of caring volunteers who have been background checked and trained.

Preschool (3-5yrs)

In our Pre-K room, children learn the Bible through age-appropriate games, worship songs, videos and crafts. Each weekend, we use age-appropriate curriculum to teach them about God’s people, encouraging them to love, to be a friend, to share, to pray, and to follow God. Carpet-time includes worship and teaching. Table-time offers a small-group atmosphere with activities, a snack, and crafts that reinforce the biblical truths taught in the carpet-time session.

Elementary (K-5th)

Each weekend, we use both large-group and small-group settings with an interactive curriculum to teach your children biblical truth. The large-group session, similar to what adults experience, includes videos, games, and worship as K-5th graders dig deeper into God’s Word. Adult and high school volunteers show your kids that a relationship with Jesus is meaningful and exciting. Every week they get to participate in reinforcement activities, work on a memory verse, receive prayer and make friends in a small-group setting.

  • Children’s Ministry Security

Safety and security is a top priority at West End, and we have established protocols to keep every child safe. When you arrive at church, please check in your child at any of our kiosk locations.

    The kiosk will print:

🔘 A name tag for your child.

🔘 A guardian/security tag to pick up your child. You must present your guardian tag at the entrance of all children’s ministry spaces in order to enter the areas. Your guardian tag also includes a unique code that matches your child’s name tag, and our volunteers will confirm these codes match before releasing your child back to you.

All outside doors in the West End Kids elementary areas are locked once service begins and are reopened for pick-up. Entry during times when the doors are locked is limited to children’s ministry volunteers or parents with a security tag only.

  • Check-In Procedures - First-Time Guests

When entering through the main doors, stop by the cafe and information counter in our lobby. Volunteers are available to walk you and your children to the children’s ministry areas and to assist you in getting checked-in on your first visit.

Volunteers are available near each check-in kiosk to help first-time guests get registered. You may also walk through the process on your own.

🔘 We will ask a identifying questions such as parent’s name, child’s name, and phone number to add you and your family to our database.

🔘 Once you are in the database, a volunteer will walk you through the check-in process to receive your guardian tag and child name tag.

🔘 After receiving your tags, our volunteers will help you find the correct classroom(s). Once your child is settled, you may proceed to the auditorium for worship.

Your children will be waiting for you in their classroom(s) for you to pick them up after service. You must present your guardian security tag to pick up your children. If you lose your tag, we will ask to see photo ID as well as other identifying questions for your child’s safety and security.

Please click the link below to register in advance to help us make your first check-in experience as smooth as possible.

🔘 Be interviewed by children’s ministry staff.
